Sunday Cooking
Sunday, October 25th, 2009Autumn is here and with the leaves turning more and more activities are done inside. And for us this was no exception. Today we cooked, cleaned and hung around in the warmth of our house.
First, we warmed up mom’s delicious red stuffed peppers for lunch. This is a great meal and we ate it feverously.

Next, we had a lot of apples from my parent’s apple trees. Rory made apple sauce and the wonderful apple and cinnamon aroma filled the house. We ate this with pork for dinner. It was delicious.
Lastly, Rory decided to make an apple pie. It has been a while since he made one and the last one did not turned out so great. So he was a little reserved to do it but since we had more apples and pears from him parents too, he decided it can’t hurt. He made everything including the crust. The pie turned out amazing!
We had a great Sunday!
